HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

General Statement Of Intent

RIVERBANK ELECTRICAL LTD intends to comply with UK Health, Safety and Welfare Legislation, in respect of health, safety and welfare at work. "The Company" realises its responsibilities in relation to both its own Employees and those of its Clients, Sub Contractors and others affected by its work and with this in mind makes the following statement.

It is our policy that, as far as is reasonably practicable, we will provide:

  1. Well maintained equipment and safe systems of working.
  2. Suitable arrangements for the safe use, handling, storage and transport of articles and substances.
  3. Adequate information, instruction, training and supervision to enable work to be carried out safely.
  4. Safe premises and work places including access to and egress from them.
  5. Safe working environments with adequate welfare facilities.
  6. Communication and advisory facilities as required.

A member of staff to be responsible for health, safety and welfare will be appointed.

It is the responsibility of the Chief Executive and employees to implement this policy together with their collective and individual responsibilities.

"The Company" will produce and update detailed organisation and arrangements for the implementation of this policy as necessary.

"The Company" will appoint a competent Safety Adviser whose duties will be to effectively advise on the function of safety and assist others in implementing this policy.
